The Cleveland Browns were steamrolled by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6. While injuries continue to pile up and help explain some of the struggles, they are not enough to answer all the questions that are coming the Browns way over the next few days.
Whether a blessing or a curse, Cleveland doesn’t have long to lick their wounds as they host the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football this week.
The Cardinals controlled the game in all aspects, despite missing their head coach/offensive play-caller, two other coaches and two starters. Kyler Murray threw for four touchdowns and zero interceptions, James Conner and Chase Edmonds combined for over 100 yards on the ground in only 20 carries and their defense was able to shut down Cleveland’s top-flight rushing attack.
