PFF’s Trevor Sikkema has released his top 32 linebacker rankings for the 2023 NFL season and the Cleveland Browns land one player on the list. In his list, Sikkema has the rankings broken up into tiers as well as overall, and in tier 4 at 17 overall he has Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah.
“Owusu-Koramoah has shown flashes of really good second-level play. In 2021, he was a solid run defender. This past season, he was even better in coverage. 2023 could be the year he really puts it all together.”
I have to agree that Owusu-Koramoah has the talent and upside to be an impactful player. Joe Woods failed to utilize the player in creative ways like they said they would when he was drafted. With new defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz in town, he could be able to unlock the potential of JOK and make him an impact player in 2023.
