Philadelphia 76ers legend Allen Iverson has always had a lasting effect on the sports world. The way he played the game with all heart and the way he was able to take games over and put his team on his back was always admirable.
His impact on the sports world, not just basketball, is always felt as everybody loves giving a shoutout or pay tribute to The Answer.
On Sunday, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry paid homage to Iverson by having his likeness on his cleats before their matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. On one side, it had his famous ear cupping gesture and on the other side, it has him wiping his face with his uniform.

Landry and the Browns are heading into Lincoln Financial Field looking to continue their winning ways. As for the Eagles, they sit at 3-5-1 and are trying to remain in first place in the NFC East. So while Landry may be paying tribute to a Philadelphia legend, the hope is that Iverson’s spirit and toughness will inspire the Eagles on this one. [lawrence-related id=39384,39381,39378]
