When the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night, they will have two fewer pass rushers to worry about. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski spoke to the media on Monday and declared defensive ends Chase Winovich and Jadeveon Clowney will both miss Thursday’s game.
We never wish injury on any player but with the way the Steelers offensive line has played, they will take any break they can get. The Steelers will still have to contend with defensive end Myles Garrett but this should take some of the pressure (pun intended) off of a struggling unit.
On the other side of the ball, the only injury of consquence the Steelers have is to linebacker Devin Bush. But according to head coach Mike Tomlin, Bush is scheduled to return to practice on Tuesday.
Browns’ HC Kevin Stefanski already has ruled out DE Jadeveon Clowney (ankle), DE Chase Winovich (hamstring) and TE Jesse James for Thursday night’s game vs. the Steelers.
