Browns Injury Update: TE David Njoku exits in walking boot, on crutches

Browns TE David Njoku is now on crutches and in a boot after injuring his ankle against the Ravens

After leaving the game against the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku left the stadium in a walking boot and on crutches according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland dot com. A serious injury would be devastating for both this team and Njoku as he is in the midst of a breakout season after signing a long-term deal.

With another 71 yards and seven catches on the day, Njoku is now up to 34 catches for 418 yards on the season. He is currently on pace for 82 catches and 1,015 yards in 2022. While there is no diagnosis of the injury of Njoku, this is heartbreaking news for a player who has worked his way out of the doghouse of Freddie Kitchens to become one of the better tight ends in the league.
