The Cleveland Browns are hosting Florida defensive tackle Gervon Dexter in Berea today. As first reported by SI’s Noah Weiskopf this is the third time they have met with the former Gator as the 2023 NFL Draft nears.
It is clear the team really likes the player with how much time they are spending with him. Dexter is a freak-level athlete scoring a 9.52 RAS. At Florida, at times Dexter was downright dominant using his elite combination of size and strength to go with great athleticism.
The biggest concern with Dexter is consistency and at times he disappears on film. For those reasons, he could fall to Cleveland and if Jim Schwartz could get consistency from Dexter he could be a great player in the NFL.
