The Tampa Bay Buccaneers let a seven-point lead slip away in the final moments of regulation Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, then let the entire game slip away in overtime.
Sunday’s 23-17 loss was a huge setback for the Bucs, but it also ended an incredible streak for their quarterback.
Heading into this Week 12 matchup, Tom Brady had an all-time record of 218-0 when leading by seven or more points with two minutes or less remaining in a game. Now, he’s 218-1 in those situations.
Brady threw for 246 yards and a pair of touchdowns Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a long list of self-inflicted errors for the Bucs, who fell to 5-6 on the season with yet another disappointing loss to an opponent with an inferior record.
