Donovan Peoples-Jones had a breakout season for the Cleveland Browns and in turn, was awarded financially. Peoples-Jones’ salary for 2022 nearly doubled due to performance-based bonuses last season. He finished 11th best in performance bonuses last year earning about $717,000 because of his break-out season.
DPJ took the reigns as the wide receiver two on this team and performed as well as anyone could have expected in 2022. If the team can add a more reliable slot player with some speed it should open things up even more for Deshaun Watson and Peoples-Jones for the 2023 season.
