Browns’ defense employ ‘bend don’t break’ with huge 4th down stop

The Browns stop the NFL’s leading rusher in his tracks!

The Cleveland Browns are off to a solid start in their Week 8 contest against the Baltimore Ravens with a turnover on downs in their opening drive.

Baltimore started off the drive with some very big chunk yardage plays that made it look like the Browns were going to be in for a long day. After the defense held strong in the red zone late in the drive, they stopped Ravens star running back Derrick Henry on a 4th and 1 rushing attempt. Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah led the combined defensive effort that stopped Henry in his tracks.

The Browns’ defense still has some work to do despite their impressive finish to the Ravens’ opening drive. Lamar Jackson appears to be very sharp and the offense was clicking on all cylinders before approaching the red zone. Let’s hope that the defensive stop was enough to give them the momentum swing and stop the Ravens faster on their next drive.
