A new wide receiver has joined the Cleveland Browns after being released earlier this week. Former North Texas standout Jaelon Darden has been awarded to the Browns off of the waiver wire after he was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Browns have collected a speedy, agile receiver to play around with in their offense.
Just a second-year player, Darden has racked up just 69 total receiving yards over his young stint with the Buccaneers. As Donovan Peoples-Jones and Jerome Ford have taken over return duties as well, it will be interesting to see how the Browns work Darden onto the field.
We have claimed WR Jaelon Darden and placed WR Anthony Schwartz on injured reserve
