Browns bringing DT Roderick Perry back to practice squad after release

After waiving him earlier this week, the Browns are signing defensive tackle Roderick Perry II back to the practice squad.

The Cleveland Browns released defensive tackle Roderick Perry II from the active roster in order to bring Ben Stille on board from the practice squad of the Miami Dolphins. Perry has now cleared waivers and has returned to Cleveland as the Browns have re-signed him to their practice squad.

Perry suited up against the Dolphins this past weekend, playing a total of 23 snaps along the Browns’ defensive interior. He racked up one tackle and one hurry of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. As the Browns continue to search for answers along their defensive interior, Perry could see himself as a gameday elevation from the practice squad over their last eight games.
