Browns add Jim Brown patch on the sideline to honor the Hall of Famer

Another tribute to one of the league’s best

In addition to a ceremony at halftime in this week’s game, the Cleveland Browns will continue to honor Jim Brown’s legacy with a patch on the sideline. That patch will feature Brown’s iconic number 32 and his signature. Many across the NFL world still believe Brown was one of the best if not the best running back to ever play the game.

Brown played a total of nine seasons with the Browns and was an All-Pro first-team selection in eight of those seasons on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In just nine seasons Brown had a total of 106 rushing touchdowns while also adding 20 receiving touchdowns.

The team had already announced that some ceremony would take place at halftime against the Cincinnati Bengals to further honor the legacy Jim Brown left behind. Fans will be happy to see the team honor Brown who loved Cleveland and loved the Browns.
