Browns activate Chris Hubbard from the reserve/COVID-19 list

Hubbard is the first Browns player who tested positive

Browns offensive lineman Chris Hubbard just got something to be a little more thankful for on Thanksgiving. The Browns activated Hubbard from the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday.

Hubbard was the first active Browns player to go on the reserve list after testing positive on November 13th. He will be eligible to travel with the team to Jacksonville and play in Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. Hubbard is the team’s primary reserve at both guard and tackle and started the four games prior to his diagnosis.

Since Hubbard’s positive test, he’s been joined on the reserve/COVID-19 list by FB Andy Janovich, DE Myles Garrett, DE Joe Jackson and LB Sione Takitaki. Another Browns player also tested positive on Thursday and will be added to the list.
