Brooks Koepka had an epic response after Aaron Rodgers was paired with Bryson DeChambeau

So good.

The past few days has been especially great for fans of good, old-fashioned golf feuds. And it keeps getting better.

On Monday, a previously unreleased interview outtake with Brooks Koepka was leaked, which showed the golfer get super annoyed with Bryson DeChambeau’s presence as he walked by. Koepka’s reaction quickly went viral and added another layer to their rivalry.

Well, on Wednesday, the pairings for “The Match” were announced, and Aaron Rodgers found himself paired with DeChambeau to go up against Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady.

Brady — or, really, his social media manager — got in on the trash talk and roasted Rodgers with the Koepka meme. But Koepka himself had a pretty awesome reaction to the whole deal.

Koepka took to Twitter and apologized to Rodgers.

It was a bit cryptic exactly what he was apologizing about. Was he sorry that Rodgers had to spend all that time around Bryson? Many read it as that — another jab at Bryson.

Or was he sorry for giving Brady meme material by, you know, being the subject of the meme that was used to mock the Packers’ loss?

Well played by Koepka either way, though.
