The Brooklyn Nets have some choices to make this offseason: Rebuild the roster completely or continue to compete as best they can.
It seems one of their free agents, guard Seth Curry, could be a target of the New York Knicks.
In a recent article by Grant Hughes of Bleacher Report, Curry is listed as someone the Knicks could go after in their pursuit of shooters to put around Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle. Curry, 32, is an unrestricted free agent who is shooting 43.5% from 3-point land for his career, including 42.7% during his 80 games with the Nets.
Brooklyn has Mikal Bridges, Nic Claxton and Spencer Dinwiddie under contract for next season, Cam Johnson is a restricted free agent, but guys like Curry are important to have on a team that needs as many shooters as possible. However, if the Knicks are willing to pay Curry more than the Nets can afford, Curry could be playing his home games at Madison Square Garden next season.
