Brooklyn Nets guard Mikal Bridges has been many things for the Nets since he came to Brooklyn in the Kevin Durant trade. He has been the squad’s go-to scorer in virtually any situation, arguably the team’s best defender, and he has been one of the best teammates that a player can ask for.
With that being said, if everything goes according to plan, Bridges will be able to say that he’s played in more games this season than any team in the NBA. He has played 79 game this season and the Nets have four games left. Since Brooklyn has a two-game lead on the Miami Heat for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, it stands to reason that Bridges needs to play in the remaining games.
The interesting thing will be if Brooklyn clinches their playoff berth with a game or two to play. Could Bridges sit one or two games to fall short of the milestone?
