The Brooklyn Nets sealed the deal against Toronto to make it six consecutive victories on Sunday at the Scotiabank Arena. Kevin Durant scored 31 points in the contest to lead the Nets, but it was James Harden (28 PTS, 10 REBS, 8 ASTS) who stole the show in the fourth quarter.
Harden made it look effortless in the final period, scoring 16 points to hold the Raptors at bay of making a late comeback. Brooklyn entered those last 12 minutes with an 11-point lead.
The Nets were absolutely dominant on the glass as well, winning the battle on the boards 48-34. Though, the Raptors were making themselves feel at home when it came to scoring the ball in the paint. Toronto outscored the Nets 54-36.
Even with 16 turnovers, due to the the Raptors’ scrappy defense, Brooklyn’s efficient shooting of 52% was just too much to handle for them. Their impressive defensive output just put the icing on the cake. Here are the player grades from Sunday’s win:
