Brooklyn Nets player grades: Bulls snap the Nets’ 5-game winning streak

Kevin Durant’s 38-point outburst was not enough to get by the Chicago Bulls.

The Chicago Bulls snapped Brooklyn’s five game winning streak in the Windy City despite a 38-point outburst from Kevin Durant. DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Bulls, scoring 24 points on 10-of-17 accuracy from the field.

As for the rest of his team, the entire starting lineup scored in double-digits. Ayo Dosunmu (15 PTS, 7 REBS) was huge for Chicago as well off the bench in only 19 minutes.

Chicago dominated the glass, outrebounding the Nets 56-42 while grabbing 15 offensive boards in the process. Not only did they dominate in this category, but they dominated when it came to points in the paint. The Bulls outscored Brooklyn by a whopping 30 points in the interior, scoring 54 points in all.

As a winded Nets team had some control of the game entering the final period, everything collapsed defensively. James Harden went scoreless in the fourth quarter, surprisingly, and the Bulls pulled away for a 118-95 victory.

Here are the player grades from Monday’s loss.
