Brooklyn Nets news: Nets sign Langston Galloway to 10-day hardship exception

The Brooklyn Nets now have nine eligible players on the roster.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. As it stands, the Brooklyn Nets now have nine eligible players on the roster after signing Langston Galloway to a 10-day hardship exception. Galloway has the opportunity to prove himself to not only the Nets organization, but also the rest of the league. Last season on the Phoenix Suns, the 30-year-old averaged 5 PPG on 45% shooting from the field and 42% accuracy from three.

On top of that, Galloway has seven seasons worth of experience under his belt. With Brooklyn set to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, the Nets are going to take anything they can. They already have a total of seven players out due to COVID protocols.
