The Toronto Raptors (26-35) go for back-to-back wins Tuesday when they play host to the Brooklyn Nets (41-20) at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. Tip-off will be shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Nets-Raptors odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
The Raptors dumped the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-96 Monday and easily covered the spread as 11.5-point favorites on home court. The Under (212) also connected.
It was Toronto’s fifth win in its last six games as it remains 12th in the Eastern Conference and on the brink of the play-in picture.
The Nets were off Monday following a 128-119 win over the visiting Phoenix Suns Sunday. They covered the spread as 1-point favorites and the Over (231.5) cashed with ease.
Brooklyn won back-to-back games following a 114-103 loss to the Raptors Wednesday.
Toronto is up 2-0 in the season series against the East’s first-place team. The Raptors covered the spread as 5.5-point underdogs and as 4.5-point favorites.

Nets at Raptors: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Nets 118, Raptors 108
Money line (ML)
There has been some early line movement toward the Raptors but it’s not yet enough to back the Nets (-250) at the above-listed price.
Anything cheaper than -200 would warrant a play on the visitors.

Against the spread (ATS)
The Raptors beat the San Antonio Spurs 117-112 on the second night of their latest back-to-back set, but they’re still a league-worst 2-11 straight up on no rest and 5-9 ATS with a minus-4.6 margin against the line when playing with a rest disadvantage.
These trends matter in this instance because the Raptors have frequently been resting key starters, including PG Kyle Lowry in the second half of back-to-backs.
Additionally, Nets SF Kevin Durant hasn’t yet played a full game against the Raps this season, and he’s coming off a 33-point performance against the Suns Sunday.
He’ll be the difference and is the reason to back the NETS -6 (-110).
Over/Under (O/U)
Bet the UNDER 232.5 (-105), as that’s the way the line has shifted Tuesday morning.
The last head-to-head contest fell 15 points below a 232-point line. Even with Durant playing Tuesday, there should be enough cushion on a nearly identical line.
