The Brooklyn Nets are ranked as the 10th-best team in the NBA according to the latest power rankings done by Cody Taylor of Rookie Wire. In the last edition of Rookie Wire’s power rankings, Brooklyn was ranked as the 13th-best team in the league. The Nets place ahead of the 11th-place Golden State Warriors and behind the ninth-place Memphis Grizzlies.

Brooklyn has been playing its best basketball since this roster was solidified after the trade deadline. While it was a rough start as the team tried to build chemistry with almost everyone having new roles as well as a vastly different starting lineup than the one that was playing with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

The Nets have won five of its past six games and in that stretch, they have beaten teams like the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Denver Nuggets. While Brooklyn is just 19th in the league in offensive rating (113.2) during that span, they have the best defensive rating at 105.7 for the second-best net rating in the Association at 7.5. This is what Taylor had to say about the Nets:

Brooklyn has won five out of its last six games. They posted wins over the Celtics, Timberwolves and Nuggets over that stretch and look to be finding their groove with Mikal Bridges & Co. They have 10 out of their last 14 games at home and will be looking to continue to build some momentum heading into the postseason.”
