Brooklyn Nets announce details for media day and training camp

The Brooklyn Nets announced on Tuesday their details for media day and training camp for the 2023-24 NBA season.

The Brooklyn Nets will be looking to make the 2023-24 season the best that it can be, hopefully resulting in returning to the playoffs and possibly making a playoff run. With a recent announcement by the team, it looks like Nets fans can officially make their calendars for when preparation for this upcoming season begins.

According to Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News and NetsDaily, the Nets announced on Tuesday that media day will be on Oct. 2 and that training camp will be from Oct. 3 to Oct. 8. As NetsDaily pointed out in its article talking about the announcement, the Nets will be spending the first half of training camp at its practice facility in Brooklyn and the second half in Las Vegas.

It makes sense for the Nets to be in Vegas for the second half of its training camp given that they play the first game of their preseason in Vegas against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 9. Brooklyn will be playing its first game of the preseason on Oct. 12 against Ra’anana Maccabi.
