Organized team activities are done and mandatory minicamp is in the books. Up next for the Denver Broncos is training camp.
Broncos players will have a summer break from now until training camp, which typically begins in late July. Denver should be announcing its camp schedule any day now.
Last year, the Broncos announced their training camp schedule on June 17. Denver had 14 training camp practices open to the public last summer and there will likely be a similar number of open practices this year.
Broncos training camp started on July 27 last year and ran through Aug. 11. The team’s final open practice last year was a joint scrimmage with the Dallas Cowboys (and it was certainly entertaining).
This year, Denver is expected to host the Los Angeles Rams for a joint practice ahead of their preseason game on Aug. 26. Given how late in preseason that game is, the Broncos-Rams joint practice might not be open to the public.
While we wait for the training camp schedule, here is the preseason schedule to add to your calendar.
