Following an ugly 41-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens (6-3) on Sunday, the Denver Broncos (5-4) are ranked No. 19 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s unchanged from the team’s No. 19 ranking last week.
Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos after Week 9:
They got a nasty reality check in Baltimore and became sellers (Browning) a day later.
Denver agreed to trade pass rusher Baron Browning to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1, the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 17 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 32 (last in the NFL).
Things aren’t about to get any easier for Denver as the team is set to travel to KC in Week 10 and then host the Atlanta Falcons (6-3) in Week 11. The Falcons are ranked No. 8 this week.
