Broncos stand pat in NFL power rankings after loss to Bengals

The Denver Broncos are ranked 15th in USA TODAY’s NFL power rankings this week.

Coming off a 30-24 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the Denver Broncos are now ranked No. 15 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s the same rank they hold last week.

Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos going into Week 18:

They don’t have a single player with 1,000 yards from scrimmage – and WR Courtland Sutton is the only one who’s even exceeded 800.

Sutton is just 17 yards away from a 1,000-yard season.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 2, the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 11 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 26.

Denver will host KC on Sunday. If they win (or tie), the Broncos will clinch a spot in the NFL playoffs. If they lose in Week 18, Denver will need help from two other teams to reach the postseason.

The Buffalo Bills are ranked No. 1 and the Tennessee Titans are ranked No. 32 (last). To view the complete NFL power rankings going into Week 18, visit USATODAY.com.
