Broncos ranked No. 20 in Peter King’s offseason power rankings

Peter King has the Broncos 12 spots below the Raiders in his offseason NFL power rankings.

The Denver Broncos are ranked No. 20 in Peter King’s offseason NFL power rankings for NBC Sports. They are ranked just below the Miami Dolphins, who went 5-11 last season and selected quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the first round of this year’s NFL draft.

“This is going to be a fun team to watch,” King wrote of Denver on ProFootballTalk.com. “I could see the Broncos, in a rising division, anywhere between second and fourth, anywhere between six and 11 wins.”

Elsewhere in the division, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1, the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 8 and the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 23.

“There’s a good chance that the significantly better AFC West will neuter the progress the Raiders, Chargers and Broncos have made, because they’ll all unmistakably improved,” King wrote. “But this first edition of an NFL team in Vegas is a fascinating one.”

The Jacksonville Jaguars are ranked last (No. 32) in the power rankings. To view King’s complete 1-32 rankings, click here.
