Broncos ranked as league’s second-worst team in NFL power rankings

The Broncos are ranked 31 out of 32 teams in NFL power rankings this week.

Following an absolutely demoralizing 70-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 3, the Denver Broncos are now ranked 31st in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s down three spots from their No. 28 overall rank last week.

Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos going into Week 4:

QB Russell Wilson is 0-3 for the first time in his NFL career. Denver just became the first team to lose by 50 points in nearly nine years. But they go to Chicago this Sunday with the chance to prove they’re not the worst team in the league.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 4, the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 21 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 29. The Broncos remain the lowest-ranked team in the division

The Chicago Bears, who will host the Broncos on Sunday, are ranked No. 32. The San Francisco 49ers are ranked No. 1. To view the complete NFL power rankings, visit USA TODAY.
