After their bye week, the Denver Broncos are now ranked 28th in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings for USA TODAY Sports. That’s down three spots from their No. 25 ranking last week.
Before their bye, the Broncos defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 21-17 in London. Here is Davis’ commentary on Denver going into Week 10:
Dealing Chubb was the best move for the long term – especially given what the Russell Wilson trade cost – but the league’s No. 2 defense will suffer in the short run.
Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 3, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers (No. 15), Las Vegas Raiders (No. 27) and Broncos.
The Tennessee Titans, who the Broncos will play on the road this week, are ranked No. 14.
The undefeated Philadelphia Eagles remain ranked No. 1 and the Indianapolis Colts are now ranked No. 32 (last). To view Davis’ complete NFL power rankings this week, visit USATODAY.com.
