NFL players voted to approve a new collective bargaining agreement with league owners on Sunday. It was a close vote with 51.5% voting in favor of the new agreement.
After the CBA was agreed to, Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey and Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham tweeted that about 500 players did not participate in the vote. That upset many players across the league, including several Broncos.
Denver cornerback Devontae Harris called out the players who did not cast a vote.
If you didn’t vote on the new CBA you have a problem. The one time we get any type of say and you decide not to 🤦🏾♂️ #nflcba

Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe clearly wasn’t pleased, either.
If you are one of the guys who didn’t vote on the new CBA… shame on you. Not mad, disappointed.

Linebacker Joe Jones also chimed in:
Doesn’t matter if the outcome would have been different or not, it’s extremely disappointing that a large group of us did not vote! We got a chance to legitimately have a voice in this league (something we do not often/always get) and some guys just said “F**k it!”. 🤦🏾♂️ #NFLCBA

Defensive end Shelby Harris also tweeted in disapproval.
How did all players not vote on this cba 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

Under the new CBA, the league will have more playoff teams and a 17-game season. Game day roster and practice squads will increase, too.
