The Denver Broncos (7-7) have opened as early 1.5-point underdogs against the Las Vegas Raiders (6-7) in Week 16, according to Tipico Sportsbook. The over/under for total points scored between the two teams has been set at 42.5.
This line is subject to change, of course, after the Raiders face the Cleveland Browns later today.
Denver’s games have averaged 37.8 total points per contest this year while Las Vegas’ games have averaged 49.5 total points per contest. That’s a combined average of 43.65 points per game, just above this week’s over/under line.
The Broncos were considered 1.5-point favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals last week and Denver lost by five points. Las Vegas is considered a 2.5-point underdog against Cleveland going into today’s game.
When the Broncos played the Raiders at home in Week 6 earlier this year, Denver was considered a 3.5-point favorite and lost by 10 points (58 total points).
Las Vegas leads the all-time series against the Broncos 68-54-2, and Denver hasn’t beaten the Raiders since 2019.
The Broncos are 7-7 against the spread this season; Las Vegas is 5-8.
