Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller suffered an ankle injury the first quarter of Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Browns when he collided with teammate Dre’Mont Jones while pass rushing.
After being treated on the field, Miller slowly walked off and then went to the locker room. Denver announced that Miller is questionable to return.
Before leaving the game, Miller totaled two tackles. Malik Reed and Jonathon Cooper will serve as the team’s top outside linebackers in the second half. The Broncos were already without Bradley Chubb going into the game.
Denver is now playing without all four of their starting linebackers: Miller (ankle), Chubb (ankle), Josey Jewell (pec) and Alexander Johnson (pec).
Justin Strnad and Micah Kiser started the game in the places of Jewell and Johnson at the inside linebacker spots. Kiser then suffered a groin injury and was ruled out, leaving undrafted rookie Curtis Robinson to replace him.
The Broncos are trailing the Browns 10-0 at halftime. Denver will get the ball to begin the third quarter.
