Will Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) return to the field at some point this season?
“I think we’ll see him this year, yeah,” coach Sean Payton said last week.
Dulcich is eligible to return from injured reserve for the team’s Week 12 showdown with the Cleveland Browns next week. However, it remains to be seen if Dulcich will return as soon as his window opens.
“There’s a process,” Payton said. “I know he’s one of those guys that’s working his tail off. He’s seeing specialists.
“You look closely at — you also look closely at other things like gait. How much weight should he be at? He’s a little heavier than he was in college like most players. All that stuff we’re working on, but he’s making progress.”
Elsewhere on the injury front for Denver, safety P.J. Locke (ankle) and guard Ben Powers (foot) remained sidelined for a second day in a row. Kareem Jackson seems to be in line to start at safety. If Powers is not cleared before Sunday, Quinn Bailey would be the most likely candidate to start in his place.
Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (hip) was also added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant.
