Denver Broncos safety P.J. Locke (ankle) is listed as questionable on the team’s injury report ahead of Sunday’s showdown with the Cleveland Browns.
Locke was held out of practice on Wednesday, but he practiced on a limited basis Thursday and he fully participated on Friday, presumably a sign that he is trending toward playing on Sunday.
Denver’s secondary would take a big hit if Locke is not available this weekend as fellow safety Kareem Jackson is serving a four-game suspension and Caden Sterns is out for the year on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Behind Justin Simmons and Locke, the Broncos’ two other safeties on the active roster are Delarrin Turner-Yell and rookie JL Skinner.
