Broncos senior director of marketing Ted Santiago revealed on Twitter that Denver’s end zone will feature a throwback D logo for Monday’s season opener against the Titans on ESPN.

Twitter was thrilled by the news. Broncos legend Karl Mecklenburg was among those who tweeted in support of the throwback logo.
Love the old @Broncos logo! https://t.co/NC2NPDBhMT

Plenty of fans in Denver had similar reactions.

I really hope that logo in the endzone is telling of a shift to bringing it back more! Favorite logo by far!

Love to see them alternate between the baby blue and orange crush uniforms of the 70s snd 80s with the navy unis.

Bring back the D logo permanently!!!

The Broncos won’t wear the D logo on their helmets against Tennessee but they will wear alternate blue uniforms. Denver will wear the throwback D logo when they wear their all-orange Color Rush uniforms in Week 15.
