Broncos cornerback De’Vante Bausby suffered a scary cervical sprain in a win over the Chargers last October and was placed on injured reserve. Bausby took to Twitter on Wednesday to let fans know that he has fully recovered and is ready for the 2020 season.

Bausby (6-2, 190 pounds) entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburg State with the Chiefs in 2015. He went on to play under Vic Fangio with the Bears from 2015-2016 before another stop in Kansas City and a short stint with the Eagles.
Last spring, Bausby played in the now-defunct AAF and tied for the league lead in interceptions. Fangio signed Bausby last April and he went on to make the team’s 53-man roster and ultimately became the team’s No. 2 cornerback before suffering his season-ending injury.
The 27-year-old cornerback is set to become a restricted free agent in March. With Chris Harris set to become a free agent, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Denver bring Bausby back as a rotational cornerback.
