Brock Purdy continues to be Joe Cool 2.0 for the San Francisco 49ers, with a 300-yard game and two touchdowns in Thursday’s 30-12 win over the New York Giants.
But it’s his high school coach who stole the show a bit.
Thursday Night Football focused on Perry High School football coach Preston Jones, who was at Levi’s Stadium on Thursday to proudly watch his former QB Purdy perform. And one moment in which Jones laughed and slid on some awesome shades had everyone on Twitter (X) sharing the clip, because it’s the perfect way to sum up not being worried about anything:

Pretty cool – former Perry head football coach Preston Jones watching Brock Purdy and the Niners on #ThursdayNightFootball. Preston clearly came ready for the national broadcast đ pic.twitter.com/7szWpfPAu6

The funniest part about this is if I had to power rank the coaches Iâve covered who would want to become a GIF/wear sunglasses at night, Preston Jones is in the bottom 3% on both lists. https://t.co/BGylbo2WlD
