The Lakers lost their first game of the main summer league on Wednesday when they blew a sizable lead and fell to the Boston Celtics, 95-90. Undrafted guard D’Moi Hodge, whom the team signed to a two-way contract, was a bit of a flamethrower with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including a 6-of-13 mark from 3-point range.
Max Christie also had an excellent outing, but he suffered a right hip strain, which puts his status for Friday’s contest in question.
