While LSU had no issues on the field in its 72-10 win over Grambling on Saturday night, the biggest concern came in the injury department.
Tight end [autotag]Mason Taylor[/autotag] exited the game after making a catch in the first half, and he would exit the field and go into the tunnel. He later emerged by jogging out, but he wouldn’t reenter the game for the Tigers.
Following the win, coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] said that Taylor had suffered an ankle sprain. He didn’t offer further updates on the severity or a timetable for Taylor’s return.
Taylor was targeted three times in the game, gaining no yards on his only catch.

Taylor plays a major role in LSU’s offense, and the Tigers will need him on the field when they hit the road to take on Mississippi State in their SEC opener next weekend.
