Brian Kelly facing ‘enormous pressure’ against Mississippi State, per Paul Finebaum

An 11 a.m. CT game on the road has ‘trap game’ written all over it.

After two weeks of non-conference play, the LSU Tigers find themselves with a 1-1 record as they head into SEC play. [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] will be hitting the road with his team to Starkville, Mississippi, to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Mississippi State will enter the game 2-0 after winning an overtime thriller against the Arizona Wildcats at home. Will Rogers still leads the way for the Bulldogs on offense and he is as dangerous as ever. LSU’s secondary has had some issues in the first two games, so Kelly will have to find some answers to that issue before Saturday.

Paul Finebaum believes there will be ‘enormous pressure’ on LSU to win this weekend.

“It’s remarkable,” Finebaum said. “And as you look ahead to this upcoming weekend, there’s a game on there, and you know which game it is, that there will be enormous pressure on the head coach. That sounds crazy because it’s only his second season, but the idea of Brian Kelly taking his team in for an 11 a.m. start in Starkville. That is scary.”

An 11 a.m. game on the road has ‘trap game’ written all over it. Hopefully, LSU can avoid a letdown.
