The Carolina Panthers are going to need all the help they can get against the red-hot Dallas Cowboys this weekend. And luckily, they got two of their very best defenders back on the practice field this afternoon.
Outside linebacker Brian Burns and cornerback Jaycee Horn were both suited up for the team’s first official session for their Week 11 matchup.
Burns, who sustained a concussion in the Week 9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, was not cleared to play on the short turnaround against the Chicago Bears last Thursday night. The two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher currently leads Carolina in sacks (5.0), quarterback hits (10) and tackles for a loss (nine).
Horn has not played since the regular-season opener, where he injured his hamstring. He was designated to return from injured reserve on Monday.
