Brett Brown confident Sixers can turn it around after loss to Thunder

Philadelphia 76ers coach Brett Brown remains confident that his team can turn it around following a loss on Friday.

This is not what people envisioned when the 2019-20 season began for the Philadelphia 76ers. The problems that haunted them in 2018-19 were supposed to be eradicated and they were supposed to be one of the elite defensive teams in the league. Instead, they have lost five of their last seven games and are searching for a way to get a win.

After a 127-119 overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, coach Brett Brown believes that his team can find a way to breakthrough. He stated after the game:

If you’re sick and you don’t know why, then that’s a problem. We’re in a tough spot right now, but it’s a long year. I think that it doesn’t take much for me to understand where we have to get better, and it’s really that simple. If you’re scratching your head really confused then I think we’ve got some problems, but that’s not what I’m doing. I think our guys understandthe areas that matter most that can best impact changing the way things are going to get back on the winning side.

The Sixers found their shooting stroke as they shot 14-for-32 on Friday so there’s a positive and a sign that they can begin to get back on track, but overall losing five out of seven is not a good look. Brown believes he has the answers, but that will remain to be seen as the season continues on. [lawrence-related id=19331,19324,19315]
