A local high school freshman baseball player has committed to play at the University of Tennessee.
The Volunteers and head coach Tony Vitello picked up a commitment from Farragut High School freshman outfielder Brennon Siegler Tuesday.
He announced his commitment on a social media post via Twitter.
“Extremely blessed to announce my commitment to Tennessee to further my baseball career! I would like all of my coaches, my friends and most importantly, my family. I would like to say a special thank you to Coach Vitello and the UT baseball staff for everything!” –Brennon Seigler

Seigler is the No. 1 ranked player in Tennessee according to Perfect Game and had offers from two other Southeastern Conference schools.
He chose the Vols over Vanderbilt and Alabama.
