Head coach Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers landed a commitment from class of 2025 linebacker Samuel Lateju Monday afternoon.
Lateju is a three-star recruit on 247Sports and ranked as the No. 71 edge rusher and No. 26 recruit from his home state of New Jersey.

The young linebacker chooses the Badgers over Maryland, Duke, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, West Virginia and others.
He is Wisconsin’s No. 8 commit in the 2025 class, a group that now ranks No. 9 in the nation and No. 3 in the new Big Ten. The class is still without a blue-chip recruit, but the addition of Lateju continues to push the group toward the top of the nation.
