Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers keep surging forward on the recruiting trail. Tonight that came in the form of a commitment from class of 2024 three-star offensive tackle Colin Cubberly.
247Sports has Cubberly as the No. 739 player in the class of 2024, the No. 63 offensive tackle and the No. 7 overall recruit from his home state of New York. He becomes the fourth offensive tackle committed to Wisconsin’s 2024 group.
The Monday night commitment is overall Wisconsin’s No. 14 in the class and sixth since the start of June. That volume has the group within the nation’s top-15 classes at this point in the process. The mid-June rankings are sure to differ greatly from what they will look like when the cycle ends, though it is notable what Luke Fickell is doing in his first full class as head coach.

Fickell and his staff will now turn focus to the other top targets remaining on their board as the summer months continue.
