BREAKING: LSU flips 2023 edge rusher from Ragin’ Cajuns

Dylan Carpenter flipped his commitment from Louisiana after spending the weekend in Baton Rouge for the win over Alabama.

Even with a top-four class in 2023, coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] is not done yet.

On Sunday night, [autotag]Dylan Carpenter[/autotag] flipped his commitment from Louisiana to LSU after spending Saturday night in Baton Rouge and watching the Tigers beat Alabama in overtime.

Carpenter — a three-star prospect who is ranked as the No. 562 player in the country, per the 247Sports Composite — becomes the 25th commitment as early signing day approaches next month. He is a six-foot-four, 245-pound edge rusher from Saint Amant, Louisiana, where he plays for St. Amant High School. The Gators had a rough season this fall as they went 4-6 overall and 0-4 in district play.

Kelly has done nothing but wins this weekend as his team defeated Alabama, resulting in two commitments, and may get another shortly in [autotag]Javien Toviano[/autotag]. LSU has a chance to lock themselves into the SEC title game with a win over Arkansas this weekend and an Alabama win over Ole Miss.
