Wisconsin’s class of 2024 is trending toward the top of the country with top-80 point guard Daniel Freitag leading the group. The Badgers remain in on the Kon Knueppel sweepstakes, a race that is heating up with the Wisconsin native now a top-20 recruit in the nation.
One of Wisconsin’s other top targets was four-star power forward Jackson McAndrew. The Badgers had made the top four for the Minneapolis, Minnesota, native, but he announced Tuesday he was committing to Creighton.
McAndrew is 247Sports’ No. 89 recruit in the class of 2024, No. 16 power forward and No. 1 recruit from his state. Wisconsin had been red-hot recruiting the rival state: Freitag and three-star shooting guard Jack Robinson are in the 2024 group.
NEWS: Jackson McAndrew, the No. 89 overall prospect in the 2024 class, has committed to Creighton, he tells @247Sports.
