Breakdown of Tennessee’s 2020 offensive recruiting class by position

2020 Tennessee football recruiting.

QUARTERBACK

Harrison Bailey, 4-star from Marietta, Georgia

Bailey is considered by many as the gem of this recruiting class and the quarterback of the future for Tennessee. After leading his Marietta High School team to a 7A Georgia State Championship, he came to Knoxville as an early enrollee in January to join a crowded quarterback room.

With ideal size at 6-foot-5 and 211-pounds, Bailey is a pro-style passer that is as polished as any quarterback to come to Tennessee in recent years with the ability to make every throw. He had a litany of future Power 5 talents to throw to at Marietta, and posted impressive numbers throughout his high school career against top competition.

Jimmy Holiday, 3-star from Madison, Mississippi

Listed as the No. 26 athlete in the country, Holiday stepped on campus in early January with the expectation to get a chance at quarterback. Tennessee flipped Holiday from TCU, and the Mississippi native’s only other SEC offers came from Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Nothing about Holiday sticks out more than his straight-line speed, officially notching a 4.38 40 time. This will be one of the most interesting newcomers to monitor for Tennessee, as the Vols could leave him with the quarterbacks or utilize his athleticism in other areas.
