Trevon Brazile going down with a knee injury in early December last season could’ve put a real damper on things.
His play to that point, especially in Maui, had elevated him into not only one of Arkansas’ top players, but one of the top players in the SEC, if not the country.
Now he has been rehabbing and getting himself back into playing shape, and with the season just a little under two months away now, he’s hopeful things progress to where he can pick up right where he left off.
Arkansas' Trevon Brazile (knee) has no precise timetable for a return, but "is doing more and more each day" and is expected to be "full go" for the start of the 2023-24 season, per a school spokesman. Averaged 11.8 PPG and 6 RPG in nine games last season prior to injury.

Along with Devo Davis, Joseph Pinion, Jalen Graham and Makhi Mitchell, Brazile will be one of the only players who have returning experience playing for the Razorbacks.
He will be critical in the frontcourt, as the roster is guard-heavy in its current form.
There are certainly things to work on for his NBA Draft potential, as evidenced in this scout’s analysis.

Arkansas will host Purdue in a charity exhibition on October 28 in Bud Walton Arena. Brazile likely won’t play in that, although it’s possible if he makes enough progress between now and then.
