Braves third base coach Ron Washington had some seriously risky green lights in walk-off Game 2 win

Washington could have been blamed here. Instead, he’s great!

Ron Washington has been around baseball a long, long time.

So maybe we shouldn’t ever doubt his calls as the Atlanta Braves’ third-base coach.

Yet in Atlanta’s Game 2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, there were a couple of his green lights that could have very much gone the other way, and we’d be writing about Washington completely botched those signals to Braves baserunners.

In the bottom of the eighth on Sunday night, the Braves were down 4-2 and had Eddie Rosario on second with one out and Ozzie Albies at the plate … and let’s go to the risky call that got Rosario to the plate:
