Former Alabama men’s basketball standout freshman Brandon Miller will soon figure out where his professional career will begin. The 2023 NBA draft takes place on Thursday, June 23. Despite the draft being a few days away, there are many uncertainties regarding who will be selected where.
The only guarantee appears to be the first overall pick, which belongs to the San Antonio Spurs. Winning the NBA draft lottery locked in that the Texas franchise will land French superstar Victor Wembenyama.
At No. 2 lies the Charlotte Hornets. Two players are in contention to be drafted at that spot: Alabama’s Miller and Scoot Henderson of the G-League.
Today, it was revealed that both Miller and Henderson worked out for the Hornets for the second time in the draft process, according to Will Kunkel of FOX Charlotte.
